There are classic car shows a plenty, always have been. Most weekends throughout the year you can jet off somewhere, either to get involved and show your vehicle or just have a great day out with the family, having fun, looking around and possibly even getting some ideas for your next purchase. However, these shows vary in quality. While some are great days out and worth attending if you happen to be free, others, the daddies of the classic car show, are worth clearing your weekend and preparing for.
The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show
The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor show at the NEC in Birmingham is the UK’s largest classic car show with over 2500 vintage cars, motorcycles and other vehicles from all over the country in attendance. The event features a live stage, playing host to celebrity guests, game shows and car parades throughout the weekend.
There will also be over 600 trade stands, featuring pretty much any parts and memorabilia you could imagine. This show is a must for keen classic car enthusiasts, those looking for that elusive spare part or a bit of advice, and anyone with more than a passing interest in the classics.
The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show runs from November 10th-12th and tickets range from £23.50 for a single day to £47 for the full weekend.
The Goodwood revival is more than just a classic car show. It’s an experience! The show is a themed event. So, everything about it is vintage, not just the cars. You’ll get to enjoy historical races, on replica circuits, see vintage fashions and even watch daily, authentic fashion shows. The Goodwood revival is the event if you want to experience an authentic, vintage race weekend. There’s glitz and glamour, fantastic cars, amazing drivers and so much more.

The London Classic Car Show
The London Classic car show features vehicles from the world’s best classic car clubs. With people flocking to London to show their cars at this prestigious show. What sets this show apart (aside from the huge range of different international cars) is its indoor runway, The Grand Avenue. Cars are driven through the exhibition hall on this indoor road, letting you see, hear, smell and feel their power. This show isn’t until February 15th-18th 2018 and is at the Excel arena, London.
Gemini Events Classic Motor Shows
Gemini Events run 14 classic motor shows throughout the year, all over the country, with Wentworth, South Yorkshire in the coming weeks. All Gemini Shows offer a fantastic family day out, with music, food, great cars, stalls and rallies.
